Matthew 25: Project Letter 2
You may have already gotten a letter from me, but I wanted to further stress not only the urgency of the timing of our Matthew 25: Project and to further explain our plans for partnership with your church and many others.
Your church may already be involved in gathering clothes, coats and toys for families, and while this is extremely important and fits into our Matthew 25: Project, right now we are focused on food. The mission of our company is food, fitness and fun, so healthy food is of the utmost importance to us, and we want to direct our attention to that. At the writing of this letter, we have a little over a month until Christmas Day. Wow!! We want to work together to raise money to provide healthy Christmas Day Dinners to families in need.
So, where do we begin? We want to direct your attention to our website. We are building an army of warriors and thought it only fitting that we create “armor” in the form of T-shirts to show our commitment to change. Proceeds from every T-shirt goes toward feeding the hungry and beyond just Christmas dinner, making sure the food pantry is fully stocked every month.
We also want to begin a fundraiser to help your church. We are calling it “Dinner With Grace”. We want your best potluck stars, the ones whose dish is always the first to go, to present their favorite recipe in a small video. At the same time, we want the little ones in the church to shine by coming up with their best before-meal prayer. We will have a friendly in-church competition and then the winners will compete via those videos with other churches for the winners. We will put all these recipes together in a digital cookbook along with all the prayers. I will explain how the voting is accomplished and how this could help your church make significant money when we speak.
So please look for my call. It is my hope that as God has laid this on my heart to go to the churches to help our company make its name, that God has also laid it on your heart to hear this and be aligned with it. I truly look forward to speaking with you in the very near future.
Most Sincerely,
Claudia Brandt
