Pulled Pork

INGREDIENTS:

  • 10 lb bone-in pork shoulder

  • Dry BBQ rub seasoning

  • 32 oz Apple Cider

  • Brioche buns

  • BBQ sauce (your choice)

  • Choose your own sides (mac n cheese, baked beans, potato salad, cut veggies and dip, etc.)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. If using a smoker, set temperature to 250 degrees

  2. Cover the pork generously with dry seasoning on all sides

  3. Place the pork directly on the grill grates and cook for about 4-5 hours until temperature reaches 165 degrees

  4. Remove from grill and wrap in parchment paper and heavy duty foil

  5. Place back on the grill and open the foil at the top, briefly to pour in half the Apple Cider

  6. Close the foil tightly and cook at least another 5-6 hours until temperature gets to 200 degrees

  7. Remove from grill and let sit for another 1/2 hour at least, then place on cutting board and shred the meat with 2 forks

  8. Serve on buns with favorite BBQ sauce and sides of choice

  9. Enjoy
