Personal Pizzas

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 pieces of flat bread or pita bread

  • 2 tbsp of olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1/3 cup of water

  • 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella (more if desired)

  • Toppings of choice (bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, spinach, pineapple, ham, pepperoni, etc.)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees

  2. Spread olive oil onto each piece of bread

  3. Place bread on baking sheet

  4. Place in oven for about 5 minutes or until edges are golden

  5. Remove and allow to cool off

  6. Melt 1 tbsp of butter in small pot over medium to high heat

  7. Add Italian seasoning and stir for about 1 minute

  8. Add tomato paste

  9. Add cream cheese and water, stir to combine

  10. Bring to simmer and allow to thicken for 2-3 minutes

  11. Season with salt and pepper to taste and place in bowl for easier use in next step

  12. Place cheese and topping in separate bowls, try to make colorful

  13. Once each pizza has it’s toppings, place them back on baking sheet and into oven for 3-5 more minutes or until cheese is melted

  14. Remove from oven and allow pizzas to cool before serving

  15. Enjoy
