French Onion Soupy Joe Sliders
INGREDIENTS:
2 lb chuck roast (beef pot roast)
2 large onions
6 tbsp butter
2 bay leaves
1 tsp dried thyme
48 oz beef stock
1/3 cup white wine (optional)
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp liquid smoke
2 tsp garlic powder
1 package of slider buns
8 oz of grated Swiss cheese
INSTRUCTIONS:
Slice the onions
Sautee the onions on low heat in butter in a large pan for about 40 minutes (until soft and brown)
Remove the onions and set aside
In a pressure cooker or a crock pot, place the remainder of the ingredients
Cover with the onions
If using pressure cooker, cook on high for 45 minutes; if using a crock pot, cook on high for 6 hours
When done, remove the meat to cutting board and shred it with 2 forks
Place the meat into the juices
Serve on slider buns and top with Swiss cheese
