Bacon BBQ Burger Sliders w/ Orzo Salad

INGREDIENTS:

  • 12-15 frozen slider burgers

  • sliced cheese (your choice)

  • 1 lb of bacon

  • slider buns

  • BBQ sauce

  • 1 box of Orzo pasta

  • 1/2 cup quartered cherry tomatoes

  • 1 small cucumber

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 cup chopped onions

  • Italian dressing

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat grill to 350 degrees (in smoker) or start charcoal grill

  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  3. Cut bacon slices in half and lay on a cooling rack on a cookie sheet

  4. Cook bacon in oven for about 25 minutes until bacon is brown and crisp

  5. Start pot of water for Orzo

  6. After cooking Orzo, drain under cold water

  7. Put Orzo in a bowl with chopped cucumber, tomatoes and onion

  8. Top the salad with Parmesan cheese and Italian dressing, stirring until combined

  9. Set aside the salad until burgers are done

  10. Cook burgers on the grill until cooked to your liking, adding cheese at the last minute

  11. Place a burger on each bun, topping with BBQ sauce and bacon, serving with the salad

  12. Enjoy!
